Janette Franich

Based in the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina, I create ethereal, nature-inspired jewelry.

I work with precious and semi-precious metals and gemstones and use traditional metal-smithing techniques (hot and cold connections, piercing, metal-forming, wire-wrapping and roller-printing).

During my eleven years as a professional artist, I have exhibited my work in galleries, art shows, festivals and online. I currently show in galleries in three states, and participate in over twenty shows annually in the Southeast and Midwest.

When I’m not creating jewelry, I can be found hiking, biking or running in the woods with my husband and dog. I am a maker to the core, enjoying sewing, painting, knitting and creating in the kitchen. Connecting with people and adding beauty to the world are continued goals in my life.
